The Learning Pod offers online tutoring and home tutoring for children in Years 1 to 6 in Maths and English.
Sessions are one hour long. Group sessions are kept small, with a maximum of 4 children per session, and 1:1 tutoring is also available.
Enquiries begin with a conversation about your child's needs and availability.
An initial assessment or settling-in session may be used to help decide whether a group or 1:1 session is the right fit and what support will be most helpful.

Group sessions are charged at £25 per child, per one-hour session.
1:1 tutoring is charged at £30 per one-hour session.
These rates apply for both online tutoring and home tutoring.
Payment is required two weeks in advance to secure your child's place and allow sessions to run smoothly and consistently.

Parents do not stay during home tutoring sessions. This helps children settle into the session and build independence in their learning.
Home tutoring sessions take place in a dedicated home learning space in Ashton-in-Makerfield, with nearby shops and cafes available while you wait.
Yes. Summer Booster sessions are available during the school holidays. They're a great way to keep skills ticking over or spend a little extra time on areas your child finds tricky.
